Amanda is a familiar and visible presence throughout the HWDSB community.  Whether attending school board and committee meetings in person, visiting schools, supporting field trips, or cheering on students at athletic events, she believes in being actively engaged where students learn, grow, and succeed.  Amanda regularly supports a wide range of student opportunities including robotics competitions, skilled trades events, music and drama performances, and other extracurricular activities.  She has also volunteered her time to assist with EQAO transcription and other student supports.  Her commitment to showing up, listening, and celebrating student achievement helps her stay connected to the diverse experiences of students, families, and staff across HWDSB.
